Hands On:

Step 1: Configure Form Field Template

1.1 Click System Settings.

1.2 Click Form Field Templates.

1.3 Click Add Form Template

1.4 Give your Form Field Template a Name and click Save.

1.5 Now a Manage Fields button will populate, click it.

1.6 Select the fields you want to use on your form field template. For this walkthrough we are selecting Single Line Text.

1.7 Update the label appropriately to First Name and check the box to make this field required. Click on Add Field tab when done.

1.8 Select Single Line Text.

1.9 Update the label and check the box to make the field required. Click on the Add Field tab when done.

1.10 Select Email field and update the label and check the box to make the field required. Click Save Form and then click Close.

Step 2: Create Program

2.1 Click Programs.

2.2 Click Add Program.

2.3 Give your program a name and click Save.

2.4 Click Manage.

Step 3: Configure Submission Form

3.1 Click Round Settings and then click Submission Form.

3.2 Click Add Question Page.

3.3 Give your page a name and click Save and then Back to List. Repeat the process until you have all the form pages you want.

3.4 Click Select for the submission form page that you want to edit.

3.5 Click Manage Questions Form.

3.6 Click Add From Template.

3.7 Click Add for the form field template you created.

3.8 Click the trash can icon on the Narrative field.

3.9 Confirm you want to delete by hitting Ok.

3.10 Click on the Title field.

3.11 Update the label to University Name and drag the field to the bottom below the Email field.

3.12 Click Save Form and then click Close.

3.13 Click back to List.

3.14 Click Select for the next form page you want to edit.

3.15 Click Manage Questions Form.

3.16 Click Letter of Rec field.

3.17 Update the label and check the box to make the field required. Click Save Form and then click Close.

3.18 Click Back to List.

3.19 Click Select for the next form page you want to edit.

3.20 Click Manage Questions Form.

3.21 Click the Table field.

3.22 Update the label and scroll to the bottom.

3.23 Click Manage Fields.

3.24 Add the appropriate fields you want to be included in the table data.

3.25 We added two Single Line Text fields and one Date field. When done click Save Form and then click Back.

3.26 Click Edit Row Template.

3.27 Configure how you want the data to be displayed in the table. Use the Insert Variable link to access the applicant input fields we configured in Manage Fields.

3.28 Once in Insert Variable find the variable you want to use and check it and then click Insert.

3.29 When done click the X on the top right.

3.30 Click Save Form and then click Close.

3.31 Click Back to List.

Step 4: Set Open/Close Dates

4.1 Click on Round Settings and then select Open / Close Dates.

4.2 Enter a date for Start Accepting Submissions, Last Day to Submit, Judging Period Opens, and Judging Period Closes as these are all required fields. Click Save and then click Back.

4.3 Copy / paste the Direct to Program URL in your web browser's web address area.

4.4 Make a couple test submissions.
